The Traditional Braai Broodjie Fold-Over, a delicious twist on one of South Africa’s most beloved braai classics.

Unlike the rest of our fold-over range (designed for the oven or air fryer), the Braai Broodjie Fold-Over is specially crafted to be prepared on the braai – making it the perfect addition to any summer gathering. Made with TrulyGood low-carb vegetable based pastry our version of the braai-broodjie is low in carbs and high in fibre which is better for your gut and blood sugar levels.

Our TrulyGood bases are made from fresh vegetables, plant fiber, and mature cheddar cheese. They are low in carbs and calories, with no added nasties and full of natural goodness.

HEATING INSTRUCTIONS

BRAAI +/- 15 Minutes 
  • For best results ensure to defrost before heating. 
  • Remove the pizza fold-over from all packaging (box & sleeve). 
  • Place in a braai grid as you would with a normal braai broodjie
  • Heat over low heat for 10 - 15 minutes. Turning regularly the cooking time, until the outside is golden brown and the center feels soft. Be careful not to burn the edges. 
  • Be cautious of hot steam when eating. 

FOR BEST RESULTS - BUTTER BEFORE BRAAI (like with a normal braai broodjie) ;-) !!

OVEN OR AIRFRYER +/- 15 minutes
  • For best results ensure to defrost before heating. 
  • Remove the pizza fold-over from all packaging (box & sleeve).
  • Place on a lightly greased oven tray, pizza pan or baking paper.
  • Pre-heat the  oven to 130 Degrees Celsius.
  • Heat for 14-15 minutes at 130Degrees Celsius. Turning the fold-over halfway throughout the cooking time. Heat an extra minute of two if you prefer and extra crispy texture. Be careful not to burn the edges. 
  • Be cautious of hot steam when eating. 

DO NOT MICROWAVE THIS PRODUCT 

Guideline Only - Heating instructions may vary with different appliances. If heating from frozen, place in oven or air-fryer at 50 Degrees Celsius, turning regularly until thoroughly defrost and the center feels soft. Then heat as per the heating instructions.

  • Keep refrigerated and use before the “Best By” date
  • Once defrosted, use within 1 day.
